Who'd you order it from? We have a drop side that I'd like to use again, but wasn't sure what to do.

Yay a fellow Jayhawk!
I google searched for the "crib name" and "recall" and it lead me to the manufacturer website. It was free to order the parts for the retrofitting. We will see how it works out I guess!
im going to be. my MIL bought a beautiful crib that was her nieces 9-10 yrs ago. its drop side so i have to get the part offline but im a little nervous. but its so pretty and like new i figured i will give it a shot. my kids dont stay in them for a long time anyways. ill just keep an eye on it i guess. its in our room so we should be ok
Another fellow Kansan here, though not a Jayhawk = ) Anyways, we switched ds's dropside to a permanent one with the kit directly from the company and there was no way that thing was going anywhere. He uses it as a toddler bed now, so we are having issues deciding whether to buy another crib, or switch ds to a bigger bed. Ugh.

We did. Somehow my husband reversed the brackets so it doesn't drop down now. We didn't order the parts to convert it. Even when it dropped down, it was really hard to do and it made it through 2 kids. I'm not worried about it.
