I have spent WAY too much time looking at/comparing/etc strollers and it is starting to drive me CRAZY! I just want someone to say "buy this one"! Here is what I am dealing with.
I currently have 19 month old boy who is very independent. Most of the time when we go to the zoo, children's museum, etc lately I do not even bring a stroller because he wants to walk, but I fear that when the baby comes and he sees him in the stroller he will want to ride again. Currently I have a Chicco 30 carseat and I have the matching single stroller for the travel system. I also have a cheap umbrella stroller that we keep in DH's car and a single jogging stroller that I got from a friend.
DS#1 is tall for his age, 19 m and 34 1/2 inches. I would like something that I can use my infant carseat with if possible. I have considered the sit and stands since DS#1 is very independent, but am not set on them. I wouldn't mind the option of using a double stroller for a jogging stroller as well. Also, we want to have more children, so we will probably have another baby within 2-3 yrs after this next one.
I currently drive a Ford Taurus so it cannot be TOO big to fit in my trunk. I have looked at the Baby Jogger City Select with the second seat, but I fear the seats are too short when I will probably have 2 tall children. I have looked at Chicco's Double stroller, but don't love it. I have looked at Baby Trends Sit & Stand options, the Bumblebee Twin, Countours Option Tandem, etc.
I need help!!!! Please reccomend the best stroller!
Re: Please choose a stroller for me! :)
Get the City Select! LOL My 18 month old DS is 37 lb and 36 inches tall and he still has plenty of room, even in the 2010 seats. The 2011 seats are much nicer (I actually just ordered a 2011 second seat kit so that I can have it as my main seat because it has more support and padding). I have used my 2010 as a double with DS' 3 year old cousin and it is still just as fabulous and easy to push even with two large toddlers on board at the same time. DS also likes to be out of a stroller and right in the action but I have found since having the city select that he doesn't mind being in it because it has him right up high (I keep the main seat at the highest level even as a single) and sitting up straight. Nothing slouchy or cave like about it!
ETA: Also, you can add the glider board on the back when your DS is too old for the stroller.
What car seat do you use with this? In a picture on BRU it shows the bassinet in the stroller then it shows a picture of a car seat in the stroller too. Can any car seat fit it in?

I don't believe that God ever tells us "no". he has three options. Yes, not right now, or I have something better in mind. We just have to wait & see.
Baby Jogger sells an adaptor that takes most of the big carseat brands and then there is a different adaptor that works with Chicco seats I believe. I have not personally used the Baby Jogger bassinet (we bought our CS when DS was around 6 months old) but I have heard that most people prefer it to the carseat adaptor. I know that when DS was an infant I only used my carseat and stroller as a travel system once because the car seat is so fitted and snug and he would get hot being in it for so long. If I was only running into a store for a minute and didn't want to take him out I just carried the seat in with me, but if I was going to have a longer day out or go on a walk where I would need the stroller for a long period he wouldn't tolerate doing it in the carseat. Every baby is different of course, but that was my experience.
