Chinese Gender Chart accuracy?

Hi ladies!  Just curious - I was wondering how many of you who were finding out gender looked at the Chinese gender chart and if it was accurate at all for you.  TB says it's 90% accurate but I feel like it's basically a 50-50 shot. Wink  I'll let you know if it was accurate for me after our u/s at the end of the month!

BFP#5: MMC discovered 8/4/14 at 9w1d - D&C 8/5/14 - Baby Boy with Trisomy 16 (maternal origin) - EDD 3/8/15
BFP#6: CP 11/6/14 at 4w2d - EDD 7/14/15
IVF #1 with ICSI & PGS: May/June 2015, ER 6/3/15, 17R/17M/15F
IVF #2 with ICSI & PGS: July 2015, ER 7/16/15, 16R/11M/9F
PGS results = 6 normal embryos (4 boys, 2 girls)
FET 9/23/15 = BFFN
Natural FET 11/4/15 = BFP!
Beta 9dp5dt = 92

    I've been wondering how accurate that chart really is too! It said boy for me; I'll find out next week :)

    It was right for DD, but I don't know yet about this one.  It was wrong for both of my best friend's boys.

    For DS, it was correct - it said "Boy" and I had a boy.  For #2, it is wrong.  It says I am having a girl.  I have seen the penis in the ultrasound pics, so if I have a girl, I'm going to ask what on earth happened!  Stick out tongue

    It was wrong for me. But I have heard that it is only accurate if you use your chinese age which differs from your actual age because they count the day your born as your first birthday or something like that, if that's true than for me it is accurate.

    well I guess you will have to say one of them is right..... I thought the Chinese birth year started at conception, when I entered my info my Chinese birth year made me older, I went back and re-entered with the same results. First time around it was wrong, predicted girl, we had a boy

    it was wrong with both my angel DD and my current pregnancy with my DS.  that's why i guessed it was a boy since the gender chart was wrong last time!

    It was right for me, but I really think it's 50-50. I really don't understand how the mother's age/ month of conception could have anything to do with the sex of the baby when that's determined by which sperm fertilizes the egg.

    Thanks everyone!  Yeah, I figure it's got to be only 50% accurate because I don't see how age at conception could impact fertilization either.  Interesting to hear everyone's stories!

    If the guess at my NT scan holds true than it will have been right both times...DD is indeed a girl and if this one is also a girl than the gender calendar is 2 for 0 for me.  I also used my chinese age of 37 (I'm 35).

    I just checked and initially I thought it was wrong but I was entering my age at delivery instead of conception. When I re-did it it was right for DS and says girl for this one.
