We're overdue on putting away the swing, exersaucer, jumperoo, etc. Unfortunately, like dummies, we didn't save the boxes. Any tips on how to store these things?
Thanks!

Re: how did you store bigger baby stuff...
I took off anything that was removable and placed it either in plastic bins or garbage bags along with the manual. Then it all went in the basement.
I feel your pain we stupidly got rid of the boxes for the swing and bouncer. By the time we got to putting together our jumper I realized my mistake and kept that box but even so I am not sure if it will go back in since unless I completely disassemble it (as in unsnap all the toys from the base etc) it wont fit in the box so dont feel too bad about tossing the boxes.
As for storage we are just storing the swing whole since the legs fold in and it takes up about the same amount of room in our storage area that way as it would in a box. As for the other stuff I am just breaking it down and going to either throw it all in a really big rubbermaid container or possibly a big rubbermaid garbage can with a lid since I need something that will hold the longer pieces. I plan to put all the smaller parts into ziplocks or little take and toss containers inside the bigger container and just combine all the big stuff (jumper, bouncer, exersaucer, etc) into one container and just seperate them out when Ineed them down the line for the next baby.
I put everything fabric into plastic bins (in case there are mice) and put everything metal/plastic into large garbage bags. It all went either in the attic or in the rafters above the garage.
Oh, and we also took out all the batteries in case they leaked.
Probably wouldn't have thought of this...good point, thanks!
Thanks to everyone else for the other suggestions too.
just got preggers again so I could still use it
then...
