Well I'm having a boy!? Surprised but happy

in 2nd Trimester

So yesterday was the big ultrasound and we thought for sure it was a girl. The funny thing is I am definatly having a baby boy. After watching him on the screen for only a few seconds, I fell in love. Now I just need a really cool name. We were so sure "he" was a girl that we never paid attention to boy names.

    I'm partial to Elliot lol.  We're having a hard time with names this time, but our son was Elliot before he was even conceived.

    LOL!!! We just found out today that we're having a boy and thought this whole time it was a girl. We've been calling him a her/she since I got pregnant. When the tech told us "it's a boy" we just looked at each other in silence and totally shocked. We had 3 or 4 possible girl names and we also never even paid attention to a boys name. Now we're stumped.

    How funny - two stories that are exactly the same. Good luck to you and your little guy!!!

    I have no name input for you since i'm totally stuck in that area myself, but very happy to not be alone in the lack of motherly instinct. Mine was just the opposite. I thought from the beginning it was a boy, but the U/S today showed that it's clearly a girl. Totally thrilled, but it was quite a surprise! Goodluck naming your little man!! :D
