Ok, I just made 6wks this wk, and I feel like I need to really get moving/exercising. I used to spin, but want to do something not as intense.
I live in Chicago & we belong to LA Fitness, and I am thinking about taking the aquafit, matpilates, or bodyworks aerobics classes. Has anyone ever taken any of these & do you think they will be ok?
Re: Exercise advice...
What she said.
When I was pregnant, I was just too tired most days to continue with exercise/going to the gym. I'd come home from work and nap. For exercise, I'd take walks on my two 15-min work breaks and take the stairs instead of the elevator. Both of those stopped when I was put on bed rest due to GIH at my 32nd wk of pregnancy.
Good luck!

How are you doing? Baby still cookin, huh? LOL
I was a runner before getting pregnant this time. I to work out at LA Fitness in MI. My ob said to do spin, water aerobics and Body Works. Just watch your heart rate. My doctor said to keep it under 140. I wear a heart rate monitor. Just be carefull. If you worked out prior to pregnancy then you continue what you are doing within reason. I know that I can't run anymore as my HR gets too high.
