How different is your sex life?

I was cleared for sex at 8 weeks pp but we still waited another week or so before trying. I didn't have any pain or anything but I just plain and simple did not really want to have sex. My libido was just gone. I just stopped pumping a couple of days ago and I finally wanted to have sex! YAY! So last night we were in the middle of it, and all of a sudden DS lets out this series of massive farts! They were so loud and stinky! I couldn't help but think of how different it is to have sex with a baby in the house... Stick out tongue

Anyone else experiencing a different kind of sex life now?

Ours is non-existent. My husband tries, but he doesn't believe me when I tell him that him cleaning the house would be a turn-on. HA!

Our sex life has changed many times over the last 2+ years since I was PG with Drew. After he was born, I had very little desire. Even after we started back at it things were different b/c he would wake up and fuss, or we'd be worried about waking him, or whatever.

As he got older though, man did we start to enjoy ourselves. It's the best sex we've ever had, truly. More often and more enjoyable. Then I got PG with Lizzy and things slowed down. Since she was born my interest is a big fat zero. I'm hoping that once she starts sleeping better (and therefore I start sleeping better) I'll have a little more energy for such things. I also hope that major libido increase that I had after Drew happens again. That was a-okay with me. :-D

LMAO!! This sounds like us too! Now that Giselle is going to sleep at a regular time at night it is easier to get it on before bed time than trying in the morning. But we seem to racing against the baby. LOL!

Ours got better after I got of the zoloft. When I was on it for get it I wanted DH to stay on the other side of the bed. Side effects suck. Now we are like other posters we race to get done before she wakes up, or until we know she is down for the night (but by then one of us is too tired or already asleep).

This. DH does lot of convincing and very rarely do I ever agree. He doesn't care if DD is awake or not. I'm only interested if she's sound asleep and it's not my bedtime. And if I seem willing there's NEVER foreplay in case I change my mind.

Linus was born April 27th and we didn't have sex until July... 3 quickies in July and one of them worked. It's been decent. I just don't like the pressure of waking the baby or hurrying in case he wakes up. He goes to bed so late that DH is already asleep so he can get SOME sleep before work. So it has to be during one of his evening naps and those are become much rarer and shorter. There just seems to be SO much to get done at night after dh gets home that I hardly have time to sit down, nonetheless even think about sex.
