Sippy Cup: How to get him/her to use it?

Has any parents had trouble getting their infant to take the sippy? If any parents has accomplished this task, HOW DID YOU DO IT? Thanks in advance for your responses.

    I started her with straw sippies instead of spouts. It took her a few tries to get the hang of the straw but now she can drink from anything. She does still prefer a straw to a spout but its getting better. Nuby and Munchkin both make straw sippies sold at Target and Walmart. We like the Munchkin better.

    I finally got him to use it. I put water in both cups. I took one and start sipping from it (showing him how to do it). Then he took his and start sipping from it too. All I have to do now is try to take away the bottle and introduce the sippy cup more. I will try next week with the daycare. I seen those straw sippy cups and thought about buying them but we never tried a straw with him before.
