xp: FF decreased appetite

Hi ladies,

I am generally a lurker but I am having an issue and wanted to see if anyone else has been through this. TIA!

Has this happened to any other FF babies out there?  My almost 6 month old DS has been giving us a REALLY hard time drinking bottles.  I was able to get almost 24 oz. in him today, but half of that was a fight.  He would barely even take a bottle when he woke up in the morning after not drinking for almost 12 hours!!  I called the pedi and she said that 24 oz. was more than plenty, butthat I shoudl call back in a few days if his appetite doesn't go back to normal. She said he could be teething or getting sick.  I am getting anxious! 

 Has this ever happened to anyone else?  If so, did you figure out why??

    I wish I had the answer...this is happening to me right now! I can barely get 20oz in her. My goal is 24, even though I think she should get more like 28, but every bottle is a struggle. She wants to go 6+ hours between feedings and never acts hungry. The frustrating part for us is she's started waking again at night, and that's the only time she seems interested in eating. Is your LO eating during the night at all?

    I called the pedi again and they said 18-20 oz. is fine, which seems like not enough to me, but whatever. 

    No, DS has not started waking in the middle of the night YET but this is my fear...He has been STTN since about 3.5 months and I fear that if he isn't eating enough during the day he will wake at night to eat.  Probably right in time for me to go back to work again!!  He seems perfectly content and not interested in eating at all.

    Hi, I know this thread is over a week old now, but my LO just started doing this this also, but he IS waking up around 3am (hasn't done that consistantly since he was around 3 or 4 mos). I am curious if u found a resolution at all? TIA!
