Anyone else find that LO's movements actually hurt lately? She's been pushing hard against my belly a lot lately--I swear she's trying to escape (though she seems a bit confused about the location of the exit

). It can get fairly uncomfortable, but it's the one discomfort I don't really mind. Just a little bit ago though, she made some crazy, stretch-her-whole-body movement, and OMG it hurt! I actually gasped out loud. I just can't believe how strong she is! Anyone else's LO practicing for Wrestlemania in there?
Re: Not a complaint--just an observation
The movement isn't so uncomfortable for me, but every now and then LO gets wedged into a position that has me breaking out all the tricks to get him/her to move.
LO has been wedging his/her hiney in my ribs lately and there is just no way to spin that to make it comfortable. I also get cervix jabs every now and then which stop me in my tracks not because it's painful but because it's just SO strange.
Weirdest feeling ever.
my lo is helping with my poor posture I am guilty of slouching..well everytime i slouch I get a swift kick in the ribs, lol I have been making yelping noise(cant help it) cause a kick with hurt. well i work with my mom in small office and she came out of her cubby to say did you hear a cat. I laughed so hard I cried. Also when I make anykind of startle look or movment at home my 6 and 8 yr old boys say she wants to come out there is no room in there ill get your hospital bag,lol I heard movement slows down at this point (33 wks) but she seems to be more active all day long. cant wait to meet my little black belt
Yep! And like I have said before you & I have short torso's so there is less room to stretch. I gasp a lot.
I had a dream when I was pregnant with Justin that his foot came out of my belly button (because he was SO active) LOL.
Yes! I think Baby is definitely getting cramped in there nowadays because while I have yet to feel any crazy rib kicks or anything, I think he does regularly try to stretch himself out or readjust or something because all the time now I feel like he's just ramming his head straight into my cervix. He actually kept doing this the other day when I was visiting with my sister and she said it sounds like he's "knocking at the door" lol. It reminded me of what you said about her trying to escape!
For starters, complain all you want, that wasn't the intention/message of my post earlier
But as these lo's run out of room it is crazy what some of these movements feel like. What amazes me is at 20 weeks, I had a sonogram and on the little screen was his full body. Then I had one last week at 34 weeks and his face fit on the screen. Nothing else. Holy crap that's a lot of growing!
I'm right there with ya Lyse!
Mini apparently is not a fan of yoga. I was in the cool down phase of my class last night and he gave me the biggest kick I've felt to date. Not exactly the relaxing mood I was hoping for...
I ask her this all the time. I know she's head down, so I keep trying to picture her in there, but these movements are so all over the place that I can't figure out which part is where. I did distinctly feel a foot on my hand the other night though. It was completely creepy and completely awesome at the same time.
Yep, Holden is head down too! I know every single time he gets hiccups. They always find his heart beat in the same area. He has been head down since 17 weeks! I have felt his little butt press against the left side of my stomach and his little feet at the top of my stomach. It's neat to know what position they are in. I have a long torso so he has plenty of room, but sometimes it doesn't feel like it!
Sometimes when I'm out shopping I'll get a kick that stops me in my tracks. I tend to make like an "oof" noise too. Like if someone punched you in the stomach. Once in a while I'll see someone notice and they stop for a second too until I start walking again. Like they're waiting to see if my water broke or something.
I swear this kid is going to bust my ribs right open one of these days. I'm kind of scared of how much bigger and stronger he's going to get in the next 7 weeks.
So there's this boy. He kinda stole my heart. He calls me "Mom"

This one is a mover, so I have had painful kicks, punches, and jabs for weeks. That said, I have a short torso and I think LO is starting to run out of room ... definitely more rolls and stretches now, less painful
I do often get a little heel in my side though - can't wait to kiss that little heel outside soon!
