Hi Again!

Hi!  I introduced myself a few months ago, but I don't think I've done anything but lurk since. :)  Mostly because, well, I'm not a mom yet, and not even KU (though of course I figured I would be by now!)... so I wasn't sure how much I could contribute to this board.

Anyway, here it is a few months later, and I wanted to say hi again.  I'd still love to get to know you ladies a little better, no matter how much longer it takes for us to have a baby.  That is, if you'll have me!

About me: I'm in my late 20s, DH in his early 30s, and we recently bought our house in West Seattle.  We've been married about 2 1/2 years, and we started TTC in January.

DH (37) SA = mediocre ♥ Me (31) Low AMH/DOR, Septate Uterus (repaired via Hysteroscopy)
IUI 1-3 = 3 BFNs ♥ IVF 11/12 = BFFN :( ♥ IUI 4 + Injects 1/13 = BFN :( ♥ IUI 5 + Injects = cancelled due to cyst
BFP #3 - 3/9/13 ♥ EDD 11/21/13 ♥ Break cycle miracle! ♥ Stick baby, stick!! ♥ IT'S A GIRL!
Caitlyn Emma born 11-6-13, 5lb 7.5oz, 18.5in

    Welcome again!  We're slowly starting to explore West Seattle more, lots of great spots there.   My husband is fanatical about the pastries at Bakery Nouveau, have you been?  :)

    Oh the "bad porn" in your siggy cracked me up!  Good luck on TTC.   :)

    haha .. this for me as well! :) Although my DH said the same thing when he had to do SA when we went through IVF :)

    My DH was thrilled when I got KU with Hayden by surprise, because providing the samples for the IUIs at the RE's clinic was not a pleasant experience for him.

    Welcome (back)! I hope you stay and participate. I too am TTC and I'm pretty active on the board. You may find you have a lot to offer in support because so many of us are in the same places in our lives. We also do a weekly PG and TTC check-in on Mondays if you'd like to be a part of that. It's a great source of information, and a place to ask questions. We have at least 8 ladies here that are actively TTC. Stick around! Smile

    No, we've never been!  Unfortunately, I have to eat Gluten Free, so I miss out on a lot of good stuff here in Seattle.  :(

    Thanks for the welcome ladies!  Both your LOs are so very adorable!

    As for the SA, I can't imagine how stressful it is to do something like that in such a... clinical environment.  I pointed out to MH that if it comes to IUI or IVF, this could just be the first of many, and he said he'd get used to it.  But we were both amused when the doctor recommended he bring his own reading material next time.  I think that's code for, "yes, I know the porn sucks." ;)
