Do Zulilly Orders Usually Take Awhile?

I ordered something from Zulilly after hearing about it here, and I was wondering if anyone who had ordered from them before experienced EXTREMELY long delivery times? According to their website they haven't even received the products I ordered over a week and a half ago from the vendor? So they're not on their way to me yet.

yes. They are very well known for their extremely long ship times. Usually, it takes over a month.

Yep. And often, I've ordered something and got a different color/size, etc. of course, non returnable. I try not to order there often, unless it's a really good deal. Hope your stuff comes soon!

Holy cheese and crackers! I had no idea! Thanks ladies I've placed two orders with them now (nursing bras and tops and one toddler T), and based on this information I probably won't be ordering from them in the future. Good thing I won't need the nursing stuff until October! I hope my stuff is all the right size/color.

I've ordered a few things from them (maybe 4 orders?) and it usually takes 4-6 weeks from the time I placed my order to receive the stuff...I've usually forgotten about it by that point. I haven't had any problems with getting exactly what I ordered, though.

I haven't had great luck with them either. Stuff usually takes longer to ship than what they said and on occasion they don't end up having what I bought. They refund my money but they have tied it up in the meantime and I could have gotten something else. I have bought stuff for DD that she has outgrown by the time it arrives.

I will still use them but I am mindful that it may be the next size or season by the time it gets to me. I refuse to order maternity clothes because I may not be pregnant anymore by the time I receive it. Toys/books/etc are much safer buys.

Thank you for posting this! I had no idea. I just ordered some nursing PJs thinking I would put them in my hospital bag and wear them while the inlaws were here. But I'm due August 23, so it sounds like I won't be getting my stuff until sometime after the baby comes and I need to get something else in the meantime.

It tells you how long they typically take to ship (at least 10-14 business days) when you order. They don't generally have the products until they have an order for it.

Sounds like they lie then, eh? 4-6 weeks is a helluva lot longer than 10-14 business days. (Well maybe if you get it RIGHT AT 4 weeks that would approximate 14 business days if it takes another five days to get to you after being shipped.)

Okay, apparently part of the problem is that they don't even request the items from the vendors until the "event" ends. (I'm not sure why they have limited quantities of the items if that's the case, but...) How long do "events" usually last? Three days? Five? Then they have to order the items themselves, wait for them to be shipped and arrive, sort the shipment, and then ship it to you. They sure don't put that info on the main page though, do they?

I've had prompt shipping with mamabargains, but just recently placed a zulily order and waiting for shipment. Anybody have any experience with Totsy? Is it similar to zulily in its order shipment?

I've ordered twice. The first one took about 6-8 weeks and then randomly a week later they sent me a onesie that I didn't order. This last order I placed about 2 weeks ago actually said under shipping that it wouldn't ship until Mid-August. I believe they make pricing deals with the companies and then they are shipped the amount that is actually sold so that's why it takes so long.

Totsy takes awhile to ship. I ordered 4 books on May 31st and they didn't ship until June 23rd. It took another week for my order to arrive. I've had better luck with Zulily. I placed an order on Zulily on May 31st as well and got my order on June 17th.
