::raises hand:: red/white wine, a bottle of beer... i don't discriminate. i had a glass of white wine on our anniversary 1.5 weeks ago, then half a glass of red on this past sunday.
ETA: i have had a sip of DH's beer here and there since 13 weeks.

Quite jealous---beer is my middle name Occasionally I'll toss back a Busch NA just to soothe my psyche. Maybe I'll sip from hubs--just to tied me over.
Red for me! I had half a glass at 16.5 weeks and again at 19.5. It was really good. I miss my red wine, but I'm content with half a glass every few weeks for now though.
Hey thanks for letting us know how much you pour. I was momentarily scared that I might like the taste too much....and get carried away
I had a glass last week. It was a desperate need as dh didn't get a big promotion he was trying for. I'll probably have another at some point, but not often.

I definitely prefer red, and I would totally indulge once in a great while if DH was okay with it. Not to make it sound like he's the boss or anything, but it's his kid too so I feel like if it bothers him (and it does) then I should abstain. However, I have had a sip of his wine on two or three occasions, and he's fine with that.
I had half a glass of wine last week for the first time this pregnancy, i felt tipsy afterwards but i will continue to have a glass when i feel like it

I got a giggle out of this...I'm kinda of looking forward to my low tolerance once the baby is born. I was getting expensive!!
I have a sip here and there of whatever DH is drinking. Today I couldn't wait for him to get home from work because we had a few beers in the fridge and I wanted him to open one up so I could have some. Very occasionally I have a half glass of wine, usually red.

Haven't had a drink at all. I smell DH's wine occasionally (I know weird but it made me happy to remember how good it used to be). I do miss drinking, but I can totally live without it for a while. I'm not sure I could completely enjoy drinking right now without feeling at least a little guilty. But I do think a small amount probably wouldn't hurt.
I've had one sip of my husband's beer just to see what it tasted like (it was some unique microbrew). Other than that, I haven't had the urge, which is weird because I was quite the drinker before pregnancy.
I picked up some 3.2 beer at the grocery store the other day (Law in CO, you can only buy the lower alcohol beer in grocery stores) and had one, it tasted amazing
I have no problem with the occasional glass of beer or wine during 2nd and 3rd tri
I am sure some OJ and Rum would be awesome right now, but I would feel guilty for drinking while pregnant. I did drink the weekend before I found out I was pregnant, I had no clue I was pregnant.. and seeing as how we'd tried for 5 years without success, I sure as h*ll didn't think I was pregnant!
for now, I am content on just waiting until after I have her to indulge!

I know what you mean, I asked DH this weekend if he was okay with it first. Not like he gets to make all the decisions, but it's his baby too.
I've asked DF his opinion and he definitely doesn't want me drinking any alcohol at all, which is ok and I understand. I just really miss my red wine A LOT!!! I did tell him I would be having a glass of wine this weekend while in Vegas for my friends bachelorette party and he seemed ok with it. I haven't had even a sip of alcohol since the week before my BFP and I think it'll be fine if I have a bit here and there.

Same here, my DH has an issue with me even taking a sip off his beer. It's not like I want to down a whole bottle of wine but half a glass seems reasonable to me.
I will take a sip or two of whatever MH is drinking. I have also had 2 half glasses of red wine so far. Even my mom (who is super paranoid about EVERYTHING in my pregnancy) sees the occasional glass of wine beneficial. I have had some super stressful situations since being pg and honestly the half glass' I have had calmed me down enough to get some sleep when I otherwise would not have.
I haven't had a drink since September 2009! I don't drink wine or beer, only spirits. My usual is Jack Daniels. So I've just abstained through pregnancy and BF. But totally don't judge anyone who has an occasional half glass. I did however, fully judge a lady I used to work with who enjoyed a large glass of red EVERY DAY after she finished work!!
I've had sips here and there. My uncle makes wine so I tried some of his when I was visiting and one night DH cracked open a Boddingtons and it smelled SO GOOD that I couldn't help myself.
I've had sips of wine, and a couple sips of a couple of drinks H had while we were on a cruise.
I snuck them because H's uncle used to be an OBGYN - he caught me and laughed at me for trying to be sneaky. He was like you're fine as long as you're downing multiple glasses a night.

I know you didn't mean this, but whoohoo, let's party!
Hell, with my first my dr suggested herself that I have a glass of wine before coming to my appts that I had internals done. She thought I needed to relax a bit. If it was good enough for her then....
I will have a sip here and there from H's beer. This weekend he bought some premade frozen drink at Walmart for like 2 bucks just for the heck of it and I tried some and have a couple sips and kinda felt a little tipsy also. I laughed, I'm gonna be a CHEAP date when i can drink again.
I had half a beer (mixed with Sprite, it's a German drink calles "Alster" or "Radler") and will have a small glass of Zinfandel tonight. Looking forward to that already
lol Ahhh yes, the Shandy... my father who enjoys a pint, but wants something more refreshing often has a beer and Ginger Ale mix in the summer! I can't wrap my head around it.
I have had beers since my BFP (spaced out sporatically over a 15 week period). I don't feel the least bit guilty over it.
I went for dinner at a friends one night, and she offered my a beverage. She said "I have beer, wine, water, milk, soda.. whatever you like"... She knew I was pregnant - and while I didn't indulge on that particular occassion - I couldn't get over how PLEASED I was that she treated me like an adult who could make my own decision about whether I wanted to have an alcoholic beverage or not... instead of a pregnant invalid that shouldn't be offered a drink on the chance that I might grab the bottle and toss it down in a swig like an out of control, raging alcoholic. She had a one month old at that time, and when I told her that I was appreciative of her approach, she told me that she wished more people had respect her ability to "make a choice" (even though she elected to abstain through her pregnancy).
I'm also going to have a glass of red wine tomorrow night - for my Anniversary.
I have a half glass of wine with or just after a meal now and then - either color. Have also sipped a beer (as in drank the whole thing, but over the course of a long time). In moderation, the alcohol doesn't concern me or DH at all.

I went wine tasting at 4 weeks, before I knew I was pregnant- the darn tests kept coming back negative, so I really thought I was in the clear.
I haven't felt like a drink for a while because of hyperemesis. My plan has been to do a half unit of alcohol once per week or two weeks, and only if I really feel like a drink. (When I'm not pregnant I tend to have a glass of wine whenever someone else does).
My craving lately: My mother in law's watermelon margaritas. The next time I hear the blender going I am so there.
I've had sips of DH's beer. I'm not a beer drinker, I am a one glass of white wine a night drinker, but DH's beer has held me over. I can't wait until Sept/Oct when I can take sips of his Witches Brew (warm spiced wine). He is not concerned with me having alcohol in small amounts. He always tells people to chill out when they say something about it - and tells them women in France drink wine their whole pregnancy, so why should an American woman be any different?!?! LOL I love him

I wanted a drink so bad, so I partook in the GLASS of red wine. Two sips in, I had the worst heartburn of my entire pregnancy. :-( Bummer.
Now I still want to drink, and have no options. :-(
