How can you get ABA therapy without a diagnosis?

We may not have official diagnois for a little while but I want to start therapy ASAP. Like , last week. Any suggestions for how to get this appointment? Does insurance have to have a dx written in stone before they will pay? Also, I am trying to incorporate some floortime things I have read about into our daily routine- anyone have good ideas that has worked for them?
