Have you seen...?

the new Huggies diapers Little Movers, Slip-On's? They look just like pull-ups but in smaller sizes. Thought I'd mention this since we had that discussion a few weeks ago about how to change a squirmy baby/toddler.

Re: Have you seen...?

  • Do they work okay when you have a really poopy diaper?   Seems like that'd be pretty messy.

And on a related note... has ANYONE ever purchased those cheesy Jeans diapers... I think they're a Huggies product, too.  I see boxes and boxes of them at the store and it seems they can't give them away!  HA.   Bad marketing idea, indeed.

I agree a pullup and poop is a bad combo.

I always see the Jean Diapers on clearance at Target.  No, Huggies, we are not fooled in thinking our kids don't need pants if they are wearing a 'jean' diaper.  Pampers also makes these designer print diapers that I think are an equal flop (they cost even more than regular pampers).

  • What's the problem with pullup and poop exactly? You can open up the sides, just like in a regular diaper.

    Those things are hideous!

So you can open them up?  I guess I thought they were more like Little Swimmers in that they just slip on and off with no fasteners and only tight elastic.   So far, I've not had to try out the swimmers with poops!  (of course, we're going to be wearing one tomorrow, so I just jinxed myself.)

You can tear the sides to get them off but after you are done you can't close the diaper up with the tags to get the poop safely out of the way mid-change.  I also find the poop doesn't stay contained as well....
