Moms who work from home

What do you do? I'm seriously looking into the option of working from home but can't make that transition in my current position. Any advice for finding legit work from home options?

Re: Moms who work from home

  • In the past, I've done marking for a university class. I could do it when ever I wanted as long as it was done by next week's class. It paid all right ($17/hr), and was pretty easy work. I got it by keeping in touch with my professors and having one of them ask if I was interested when they were short on grad students to do it.

I would be doing it this year, but I think it would mess up my benefits from my real job.

  • I work in marketing. I have a flexible schedule since I travel the majority of the time. So they allow me to wfh when needed. It's not a true wfh job... that would be dreamy.

  • I'm not anymore, but when I was working from home it was just an extension of my regular position.  Now if I wanted to do it, I'd have to hire a sitter.
