Wrap/sling/carrier recs for small, snuggly infant?

AND, I think I would need something not too complicated or hot.  Any ideas?

Re: Wrap/sling/carrier recs for small, snuggly infant?

  • I was going to suggest a moby but that could be hot.  It is the easiest thing with infants though.  I also used my ring sling a lot when she was teeny, in tummy-to-tummy.  It is pretty simple, and not hot depending on the fabric.  I have a single linen sakura bloom and love it.

  • If you don't mind wrapping, buy a lightweight woven wrap like Vatanai.

  • I was going to suggest a moby, but it does get pretty hot after awhile. I now have a Vat and would use that in the same hold as the moby suggests if I had a tiny one again. GL.

Not complicated?  Maybe a mei tai or a ring sling. Sometimes people feel frustrated by the learning curve that comes with a wrap:

  • Ring sling!! I looooooove mine from Sleeing Baby Productions. Love love love. I have a Mei tei on the way to me- a Freehand, and am excited to try it out. Next carrier I get will be a linen wrap. Moby is great for inside and winter babies, but I find it too hot for outside use in summer. But I do like my Moby too.
