any GD moms?

Did you have to retake the glucose test after your 6 week checkup?  I have had to RX to do it for a few weeks now and I am not sure if I have to fast or not. Anyone know?

    I didn't take one this time since we already know I am type II (though I really am due for another one.) But I know with DS I had to take a fast 3 hour. Call your doc though because of how much the tests vary.

    I had GD and I wasn't told to do any kind of follow up after LO was born. The first day in the hospital the nurses did check my numbers after eating and everything was fine.

    I had GD. At my 6 week check up they scheduled me to come the following week for the 2 hour follow up test. I did have to fast after midnight and the blood draw was at 8am.

    It's typically a 2 hour GTT. In that case, you will have to fast.

    I was a GD Mom and had to take a fasting 2 hour GTT after my 6 week appt also.
