I didn't know where to post this but I thought maybe this would be a good place. I FF my DS and will do the same with the second baby. I have Dr. Brown's bottles and was wondering what all I should replace. If you FF with Dr. Brown's bottles, did you replace all of the vent parts and the nipples or just the nipples? Thanks!

Re: Dr. Brown's Bottles ?
I FF my DD from months 7-12. DS was born when DD was 16 months. The bottles and nipples were all in excellent shape so I sterilized everything and have been reusing it. Up until last week, DS was EBF (occasionally he would have expressed breast milk in a bottle) but now is being FF with some frozen breastmilk. So far the bottles are completely fine. No issues with the parts at all.
I can totally understand why people replace things. For me, DD just didn't use her bottles to an extent that in my mind made sense to replace them. Plus, they never sat in an attic or were put away. The bottles have been in my kitchen since we started using them with her. I am 100% comfortable.
I think it is very reasonable to replace nipples if you are concerned. I wouldn't think you would need to replace the whole bottle unless you were having issues with warping or cracking due to overuse or too much washing.

Thanks for the reply. My DS is 3 and our bottles were probably used for 9 or 10 months. I will replace the nipples at the very least, but I just wasn't sure about the other parts. They have been in my kitchen also since we have had them.
