I get my hair done about three times a year, although it needs to be done much more often than that! I usually have a wash/cut/blowdry along with full foil highlights. It usually costs me about $200+tip, however that's because the foil highlight process. If I were to simply get the wash/cut/blowdry at my salon, it would probably be $60+tip.
Mommy to two angel babies, 6w4d on 10/21/08 and 8w2d on 2/22/09. I still think of you and miss you every day!
the end of this month will be 2 years since i've done anything with my hair. in my defense i have naturally curly (very) and thick hair so they can't ever do much to it than trim it... and i've given up on coloring it since the silver gray would burst thru after a week or so (my hair is naturally dark brown).
maybe twice a year but lately its been more like once, I pay $35 plus a tip. My hair dresser gives me a discount for being a regular customer, and then I tip her enough to get her back up to full price.
Wow, I wish I could go 2-3 months without getting touch ups. I get my hair colored and cut every 4-5 WEEKS. A good friend of mine comes over to my house to do it and cuts DS's hair at the same time. My hair is $50 and DS's is $5. I give her an extra 5 dollars for coming over to my house since gas prices are so high now. I also get my legs waxed once a month or so and it costs 35 plus tip.
I get my hair done about three times a year, although it needs to be done much more often than that! I also went to Hair Cuttery today, $16 + tip. I'll DIY color at home this week for the first time in over a year.

I go every 12 weeks'ish. It's $50 with tip. I don't do highlights anymore because I get tired of them after a few weeks and end up coloring over them eventually. I do my own hair color at home a few times a year.
Our first baby girl, Lucia Joy, joined us on April 1, 2010!
DH's mom is a professional hairstylist so I tend to get my hair, DH's hair, and DS' hair cut for free. =D We cut DS' hair every 2-3 months. I get my hair cut when I feel my hair is to long. It is nice not having to pay for haircuts anymore. =D
I donate my hair once/year. They cut it all off (up to just above my shoulders) and the haircut is free because I donated. I usually leave a $5 tip though.
About every 3-4 months. It's been longer than that this time, though because I hate my hair and I'm trying to grow it out. I'll probably get it cut this fall. I go to the cheap places and spend maybe $15 with the tip. I went to an expensive salon once and spent $50 for them to hack my hair. Eh, but at least they offered me a cup of cofffee while they were chopping it. Not worth the money to me.
I go maybe once a year and without tip it's around $35 for just the cut. Add any sort of color or highlights and it's right around $100.
