The heartbeat is magic

I had my first ultrasound today. Let me just say I am so relieved my little blueberry is in my uterus and not in my fallopian tube! Baby's heartbeat is pumping away at 146 bpm. I measured a few days earlier than my "guess date" but not enough to change it. I got teary-eyed when I saw the images...so amazing!

    I had my first u/s today too! I agree its amazing. I got all teary eyed like awe there really is a baby inside me :)

    I agree, it's pretty amazing! I was also incredibly relieved that the baby was in the right place, I was convinced it was ectopic after having left-sided pain for a couple of weeks prior to the u/s. My next u/s is next week and it feels like such a long time to wait!
