Mono, Hepatitis and Second Pregnancy

Hey ladies!

 

I'll post this on some other boards too, but that I'd ask around here as well. This is my second pregnancy-- Fay is almost 2. This time around has been REALLY hard. I'll almost 12 weeks and this last weekend I was diagnosed with Mono by a blood test, and another test came back today showing that I have a bladder infection, possibly a kidney infection, and some form of Hepatitis. That last part is weird-- it's not A, B, or C. The test just came back positive for some form of it, which I don't understand.

Anyway, I'm just stressing because this is so much harder than it was with Fay. Did any of you have any of those things in your pregnancies? What were your experiences like, if so? I'm just looking for anyone who can relate. :)

    I had mono/hepatitis in college. It basically presented as mono with EXTREME nausea. I couldn't keep water down for several days and ended up in the hospital getting IV fluids. I got over the hepatitis part after about a week or so (it's kind of a blur) and then the mono lasted a while longer, but it was just the fatigue. 

    It was not fun. I can't imagine dealing with that AND being pregnant. Make sure you take good care of yourself and your growing baby, which with a toddler around can't be easy. If you have to get help do it. Good luck!

    Thank you! I actually had to be rehydrated at the hospital because I was so dry. It's definitely not fun, especially with a toddler!!! She doesn't always understand that I can't run around the room 15 times in a row! :) Thanks for your input!

    I had Mono Hep when I was 19. What it is, the mono virus attacks your liver due to it being weak and you become jaundice. You need to stay away from red meat especially right now. It was not fun, and because my best weight loss program. Be careful. GL!
