PSA-free BC with insurance

https://abcnews.go.com/Health/birth-control-free-insurance-rules-affect-millions-women/story?id=14202111

Saw this on CNN today and thought I'd share.  Glad to see that Bill O'Reilly is keeping is classy, as always.  Indifferent

Re: PSA-free BC with insurance

  • Yes to the millionth power.

I don't think it goes into effect immediately for existing health care plans but yeah, awesome.  I just hope premiums, copays and deductibles don't rise too much as a result.

Exactly.  The bit on CNN today mentioned something about health insurance actually saving 20 billion a year due to birth control so hopefully they won't use this as a excuse to stick it to us and raise our costs elsewhere.  Although with the stellar reputation that insurance companies have made for themselves, I won't hold my breath awaiting their good will.

    Pretty much.

I think we should just do away with all this nonsense and create a single payer public option but obviously that's not going to happen.  I was so happy when the ACA was passed but the truth is, we're all getting screwed over.  The ACA isn't even good policy.
