Is anyone nesting already? I noticed myself really wanting to clean up and organize last night, and constantly thinking about what to clean/organize next today!
I think about it a lot. Then I get up to do it and realize how exhausted I am and the feeling fades fast. I went to Baltimore for business last week and still haven't put my clothes away or carried my luggage back to the storage room in the basement.

Well I guess you could call it nesting. I ordered my 3 year old a new twin trundle bed so that we can use the convertible crib for his brother/sister. I want to make sure that he doesn't feel like we are taking his bed and giving it to the new baby so I wanted to do this sooner rather than later. We are also trying to figure out where we will have the new baby's room. We do have a guest room but that is used one for guests and two for my husbands office which he gets called all of the time in the off hours for tech support, but we don't want to put the baby in with our 3 year old cause of sleep issues. I guess we need a bigger house!
I consider it. And then moving makes me nauseous and we just have too much STUFF and I'm too tired to deal with it. Good thing we're moving soon - I can just start over in our new place.

Me? Not yet. DH insanely so. He spent the week before last fixing all of these things he kept saying he'd fix. This week he's on vacation ad has already painted our entryway and is planning to paint more, stain our deck, change a light fixture, set up our family room & hopefully mow/weed whack our yard. Personally, I"m quite excited and wish we'd started trying sooner. LOL Who knew having a baby on the way would light a fire under your dh's butt?
SO GLAD to know that my DH isn't the only nutty one! Saturday, our dog chewed a hole in our kitchen linoleum (which totally could've just been patched). So DH decided that we needed all new flooring. Since Lowe's was having a sale --which didn't apply to the hardwood laminate we ended up getting-- DH decided to replace all the flooring in the kitchen, dining room and living room. (lr and dr are connected) "Fresh new floors for a fresh new baby!" he says. Which prompted him to decide that we needed new baseboards... and new paint in the living/dining room... then while we're at it, we'll just rip out the wallpaper in the kitchen and paint in there too! Oh, and new countertops! He hasn't been this house-motivated since we bought it. Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying that he's doing it all and I just get to enjoy the finished product, but whew! Nest much?
