Full name for nickname Cal...

My DH is dead set on naming our son Cal. But I think it's too short to sound like a full name, and I don't like Callum or Calvin.

What about Caleb, and then my DH can still call him Cal? I guess Cal is growing on me, it just seems so short and abrupt without making it officially longer. I do like Caleb!

It would be Caleb Andrew...

I know a few Calvin/Kelvins who are nicknamed Cal. In most cases i thought Cal/Kal was their real name! lol

I LOVE the name Caleb. Caleb and Jacob were both top contenders on my list of boy names, but my husband liked neither. =(

I love the name Caleb. But that's because if were having a boy, his name will be Caleb. Though I honestly don't think that Cal is a good nickname for Caleb because the sounds are different, because Caleb is pronounced like (Kay-leb) not (Cal-eb), but that's just my opinion.

I love both Callahan and Callan. We've got Kellan down as our top boy name, but I'm liking both of those quite a bit. I LOVE Callum, but dh is not a fan either.
