**HLG**

Anyone ready to get back into with me? I don't even think I want to weigh myself today...I'll just start back up and worry about the number next Monday, haha!!

Our central air broke last Thursday - so there will be NO exercising until that's replaced tomorrow ($2500! ugh!) Our house is HOT! Our fridge broke yesterday (our new one!) ...so at 1-2am I was running all the food out to the fridge we have in our garage and cleaning up massive amounts of melting ice...we did lose all of our freezer food. So I had to get up early and make sure DH took out all that garbage I left for him - so now I'm SUPER tired and grumpy and want to have some buttery cinnamon toast. Grrr.

Is anyone trying anything new this week? Foodwise or workoutwise?

My MIL was here over the weekend for a bit and told me that I looked great and it seemed like the weight was just "falling off"...which obv I LOVE hearing!! That was a good booster...even though this f-ing weight is NOT falling off - it is very slowly being forced off by depriving myself the food I really want and running on the treadmill. Haha..you know, the "right" way...blech.

Re: **HLG**

  • After last week's awesome loss I have a baaaad feeling about this week. I've only found time to exercise 1 day so far. We went out to dinner friday and I was so proud to order the grilled chicken sandwich... and then proceeded to eat most of a huge basket of onion rings that MIL ordered for us to "share". Also, we had a g2g (yay!) but I went at a bread bowl like someone who hasn't eaten in 2 years. Then I figured "screw it" and had a piece of pie and cake. I'm fine until I get 1 little taste of something "bad", then I'm like a shark on a feeding frenzy. Ugggggggh.

this is me too, MrsWhite! Once I get a taste of something bad, I crave all kinds of sugar and fried foods.

I neeeeeed to get back on track. I swear I feel like I've gained everything back... but the scale still says the same # as last week, so I'm believing it! But I'm bloated and sluggish. I'm just waiting for DH to leave for work, and then E and I are headed to the gym... it's gonna be a tough workout, but I have to do it!

  • Well I don't know how I have been doing on the weight front but I spent some time jogging around my parents pool on Saturday night and last night I was cleaning up a storm and so I felt pretty good about getting in some sort of physical activity. But I am like you guys. I think, oh I will have just a bite of whatever and then suddenly all I can think about is how I would love to have some Buffalo chicken wing dip (true story). Oh well, the good food just isn't as yummy.

  • okay, new plan... DH took my car to work, since his truck was making a funny noise when he started it. So, now I'm stuck at home. But, I plan on doing a workout from the On-Demand Exercise channel along w/ some ab work. And, Evan and I just walked to the park around the corner and I was dripping w/ sweat... it's so humid out!
  • Telyco - that really stinks about the a/c, and I totally know how you're feeling. The same thing happened to us when we moved into our house. We did work for the first month we had it, so when we finally moved in, it broke down during a nasty heat wave and we had to replace everything.

I am vowing to never use my home scale again unless it's just to see whether I've gone up or down. I stepped on it yesterday before my meeting, and it said I went down 2 lbs. Got to my meeting less than an hour later, and I only went down a pound. I got excited when I saw the home scale, because if that was true, I would have hit my 10%, so I ended up feeling really bummed later because I worked so hard to watch what I ate this week.

This week, I have to be really careful about what I eat during the day because my brother and his family is visiting for the week, and dinners are usually very yummy with even yummier desserts to go with them. Good thing I'm working 2 days this week, so I can try to stay somewhat in control.
