Prenatal Massage

I'm looking for a place in Baltimore/Harford County that does prenatal massage.  I usually get regular massages at About Faces in Towson, and I've heard good things about Salon by Deb (in the Avenue) too.

Anyone know where to get a good prenatal massage?

  • I've had 2 massages since becoming pregnant and I will say that BY FAR the best one I got was at Chas Spa and Salon which is connected to the Ritz Carlton across from the Visionary Art Museum.  The Salon is pretty pricey but their service there is phenomenal.

I got a gift card from my MIL for my birthday and when I went to their website I was thinking it'd be a one and done thing and not a place I'd ever spend my own money on going to.  Wrong.  I'm already counting down the days til I have an outside baby and I can go back to her for a 'normal' massage.

O and I saw Tara.  She was seriously amazing.

  • I got one at the About Faces in Timonium. It was a spanish lady that did mine, I can't remember her name but it was phenomenal. I was having so much RLP and sciatica and after a few sessions I was right as rain.

  • i went to spa on the avenue for a prenatal massage. They dont have a special table or anything but it worked out and felt great!

Although id reccomend salon in the valley, only for the fact they have this "pre-massage' room with a pool and sauna and its fabulous.

you can't go in a sauna while you are pregnant though, can you?
