does your doctor measure your fundal height? or are you getting u/s with every appt?
my doctor won't measure me. i told him i was curious and he said that was what the u/s were for. i *love* having the u/s (both so that i can see the babies and to know for certain they are measuring well), but i would also like to know how i'm measuring so i can tell curious ppl (and myself) how big my belly is!
Re: **patchen**
Cornell doesn't measure - but you can totally do it yourself
I may or may not have to sneak into that hospital when you two have your sweet babies.
4 Fresh IVF cycles + 1 FET where embies didn't survive the thaw = 2 perfect little men!
sFET 11/9/11 - Beta 11/18 BFP!
i knew you would reply!
you MUST come visit when these babies are born!
i read online how i could measure myself - maybe i should just attempt it. did you ever try it?
Yep - after a while it was more trouble than it's worth so I just added 6 weeks to whatever week I was in and telling people that (based off Dr. Luke's book that say twins measure 6-8 weeks ahead). No one really questioned me and after a while the conversation just became "I can't believe you are not tipping over!"
So says the girl who gained 60lbs.
OOOOHHHH and I'm so sneaking out of work to visit you when the girls are here!

Nope, never been measured. I would have no idea how to do it myself.
My Dr. started scheduling me for growth scans w/ my monthly visits b/c of my low PAPP-A during my 1st tri screening. I'm not sure what her long-term plan is w/ that though.
OrangeSmoke - yes you need to come visit!!!!
We should all get together for some (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) drinks!

i gather that cornell has figured fundal measurements aren't important and they monitor growth with u/s - lucky us, we get to see our LOs more
i would love to get together with you ladies, but i've stopped commuting in (we moved to NJ). my work is being pretty generous and letting me WFH FT until i have the babies. the commute was kicking my butt! maybe Orange and i could drive in to hoboken and meet you there for brunch or drinks one day?
