Finally! An answer.

So I've been having major problems with DS's sleep. He would scream anytime it was time to sleep, and then it would take hours to get him to finally sleep. He would wake up at night after only a few hours and scream! It was awful. I finally took him to the doctor yesterday, and it turns out he is teething and has an acute ear infection. Ugh, poor kid! I'm so sad he feels lousy, but at least it's fixable. We got him started on meds last night and he slept from 9-5, ate, went right back to bed and slept til 8:30. Whew, I think he and I are both feeling so much better already.

  • Thank goodness! We had a similar problem and the pedi recommended keeping Silvie on tylonal every 4-6 hours for a few days. It has made the world of difference in her sleeping and daily crankiness.
