Northern VA Lab Corps?

Hi everyone,

I'm new here and have a quesiton about Lab Corp locations in Northern VA.  I have to go in for my 3-hour glucouse tolarance test, and was wondering if any location is better than the others.  I've been to the location on Arlington Blvd, and it was pretty dismal.  The thought of sitting in their waiting room for 3+ hours is not appealing.  Any ideas?  Thanks!

  • I had my lab work done at the one off of Franconia Road. Sounds about like the one on Arlington Blvd. I don't think those places are cut out to be luxurious accomodations. I'd just take a book or my laptop and make the best of it.

  • i've been to the one off Duke Street in alexandria, and the one near Ballston mall. i prefer the one off Duke Street b/c the waiting area is larger, but the one in Ballston was nicer. the downside to that location is parking...the closest parking is garage and it has a hefty fee. you might find street parking, but it's metered for 2hrs, i think.

parking at the alexandria location is free.

and, like PP said, bring a book or something to do! and a small pillow so you can sit comfortably.
