I know you can get a button that you install into your web browser where you can put stuff from other websites but I'm just curious about how exactly it works? Say if I register at BRU, do I also put everything from my BRU registry onto my Amazon Universal Registry? Or are they supposed to be separate? I'm just wondering if someone purchases something from BRU, will it remove it from the Amazon registry so I don't get duplicates?
Re: How does the Amazon Universal Registry work?
They aren't going to be connected. I wouldn't do another one if you plan to do Amazon. When you press the "Add to my wish list" button, it will list the item on your wishlist and tell the person where to purchase it. From there, they will have to make sure the item is removed from the wishlist. I think you would get a lot of dups if you and the same registery at different places.
I am a fan of the amazon wishlist but people need to know how to make sure the item gets taken off.
