  . This. The pedi said we will not know this until there is a reason to take DD's blood.

  M/C #1 - BFP 12/28/2008. Confirmed m/c at 6wks - blighted ovum on 1/9/2009. M/C #2 - BFP 6/16/2009. Confirmed m/c at 7wks - blighted ovum on 7/1/2009.

  DS has my blood type. I was told at the hospital. They did some bloodwork on him since he had to spend about 2 hrs in the nursery right after he was born.

  DH and I are both O+, so she had a 75% chance of being exactly the same as both of us, and is.  They tested for blood type when they did the newborn screenings with the heel prick.

  DH's. They did a type on her cord blood since I'm an O and if she was anything other than an O it could cause minor issues. Which it did and she was super jaundiced for awhile, but obviously that's common.

  Anyway, I'm O- and DH is B+ so they needed to check to see if I needed my second Rhogam shot.

  They tested at the hospital because I am O-.  He is A+ which is he same as DH, so I needed another rhogam shot.

  Neither!  DS is a recessive freak of nature!  :P

  ETA:  they tested since I'm A-neg, so they needed to know if I needed another RhoGam shot.  I did not, since DS is O-neg.
