Birthday Party Treat Ideas

My sons b-day is this week and I would like to bring a little snack to his daycare facility this week for his class.  I cant bring anything with nuts in it because of an allergy at the daycare and I would like the snack to be somewhat healthy.  Does anyone have a good recipe they are willing to share?  It is for four year olds in case that makes a difference.

Thanks!!

  • fruit?

We did mini ice cream sandwiches for Dylan's class last week and while they are far from healthy they were a huge hit!

We eat pretty healthy so I figure birthdays are the perfect excuse for the occasional splurge.

Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.

Funny, I did the mini ice cream sandwiches too and big hit and I like those better than the mini cupcakes with all that neon icing.

  • Thanks for the ideas!  I think I am going to take your ideas and make mini chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches!  I might have to save some for myself they sound so good!

     Thanks again!

  • How about a mini muffin with some kind of icing? Weelicious.com has lots of great recipes for things like that. I love the pumpkin mini-muffins and my son does, too. Otherwise, the ice cream sandwiches sounds good, just check the peanut warnings. :)
