Just curious if anyone else has experienced this...
I keep getting a sharp pain in the left side of my lower back. Way low down, almost in my boo-tay. It tends to go along with sitting or laying a certain way. I know your sciatic nerve can cause this kind of pain during pregnancy, but I thought it was too early for that? I'm not too concerned about it at this point, but just wondering if anyone else has had it or knows what it is...
Re: sharp lower back pain?
Is it your sacrum? https://www.google.com/imgres?q=sacrum&um=1&hl=en&safe=active&sa=N&biw=1280&bih=685&tbm=isch&tbnid=3A3H9ZOiEyaafM:&imgrefurl=https://teamdenise.org/2009/04/pet-scan-2-results/&docid=ksqZvLjUM8iBaM&w=780&h=1500&ei=Lqc2TvWgOonkiAL43ti5CA&zoom=1
During my last pregnancy, and again with this one I have sacrum pain in the first and third tri (worse in the first). It's aggravated by lots of bending, lifting, and stair climbing.
We went camping this weekend, and in between all the packing, then a 5 hour drive Fri, Sat, and another on Sunday, I was in soo much pain yesterday evening--like limping around. Today it still hurts some, so I'm going to try to take it easy.
Sitting on a yoga ball vs a chair helps a lot...and not bending over, or picking things up helps.
It's more to the side, so I don't think that's what it is. Having it on the side is what made me think it might be my sciatic nerve. The yoga ball definitely sounds like a good idea though, so I will try that either way!
