No more naps?

When did your LO drop naps altogether? DS will be three in 8 days (EEEK!) and he had a really busy, active weekend, and he didn't nap either day. He played relatively quietly in his room for about an hour and a half each time, but refused to actually fall asleep. Please tell me I'm not saying goodbye to naptime already!

    DS is almost 3.. he'll be 3 in December.  He naps about 2-3 hours every day. He does not necessarily nap that long at daycare though. He probably naps 1-2 hours at daycare.. I think he just sleeps better at home.  My best friend has a 4 yr old son and he still naps.  Sometimes he might not sleep either but she'll make him lay down and 'rest'.  Eventually, he falls asleep- most of the time.  I'm not sure when naps disappear but I"m hoping not for a while because they are great mommy breaks!!
