Ugh, I don't know. Lost my mucus plug today which at least gives me hope of progression of my cervix. Went for a walk, and since my contractions have been somewhat regular and not stopping. Been going on since 9 pm, it's now 2 am. They are 6-8 min apart. Still waiting for the pain, they are strong, but I can tolerate them. What has me wondering if this could be it is that my BH have never lasted longer then 2 hours of being regular. Usually as soon as I lay down they ease up & stop. Not tonight.....trying to sleep, but just as I start to fall asleep a contraction wakes me up. Hoping they intensify so I can head to L&D to be checked!
Re: Could this be it?
Can't really answer your question but.........
I'm in the same position. Lots of pain and cramping with contractions the last two days - lost the mucus plug yesterday and the contractions and backpain have continued but I don't think they are strong or intense enough to go to the hospital yet. That said - they are sure keeping me awake.
I had to take tylenol PM last night to sleep which helped but I felt like I only got catnaps in between the contractions. I do not want to go to the hospital again to be sent home. Seriously, they say you'll just know when you're ready but when you're having contractions 2 minutes apart and they hurt like hell, I thought that was a good indicator. But no, not really labor since I wasn't dialating. I'm so afraid to go again only to be turned away
Hang in there ladies, it's got to be soon.
