We need a pool!

It is so unbelievably hot here in Dallas I can't even go anywhere! The highs for this week range from 104 to 108. I can't remember it being this hot ever! DH is in London for work until tomorrow so I have just been staying home and not going anywhere this weekend. I asked my friend with a pool if they were swimming today but she is at work. Pity party for one!!

    I hear ya. It's only 92 here right now, but this is our 15th 90 degree+ day in a row. I have always wanted a pool... I know they are work, but it would be worth it to me. Maybe someday.
    TTC #1 since October 2008. Dealing with MFI.
    IVF #1 w ICSI in July 2010 = BFN
    IVF #2.1 in Oct 2010 converted to IUI = BFN
    IVF #2.2 w ICSI in Dec 2010 = BFN
    Met with new RE in new city on 1/31/11.
    IVF #3 w ICSI in April 2011. HPT on 5/9 = BFP!
    Beta #1 on 5/10 (10dp5dt) = 99.4. Beta #2 on 5/12 = 284. First u/s on 5/26. = Fraternal TWINS!
    Twin boys born & lost on 8/16/11 at 18w1d due to PPROM & preterm labor.
    IVF #4.1 in Jan 2012 converted to IUI on 1/7/12 = BFN
    IVF #4.2 w ICSI in Feb 2012. Lupron on 2/10. Stims on 2/18. ER on 2/29- 7R,6F
    ET scheduled for 3/5/12- nothing to transfer :(
    Dh seeing new MFI uro & Dh starting meds- June 2012.
    IVF #5 in Dec 2012 = BFFN.
    IVF #6 planned for Spring 2013. Praying for our take home baby/ies.

    I bet most of the people with pools aren't using them b/c they're hot!  We have one, and now with LO on the way, I wish we didn't...even with all of the safety gates and devices to "baby proof" I have a feeling that I'll be a nervous wreck!

    TTC since April 2009 dx = PCOS; TTC History for DS - A FET miracle after 7 IUIs; 2 fresh transfers, and 1 other FET resulted in BFNs. Hoping and Praying for baby #2: Cycle 1 - FET; November 2012 BFN Next Steps - who knows? Lilypie Second Birthday tickers

    If you were closer, you could come on by!  We have one in our subdivision, which has been an absolute lifesaver since our A/C and hot water heater got flooded last weekend.  I go there every day to swim and shower.  All the fun and none of the work! :)

    I'm so jealous of my neighbors with pools. I can't imagine how sweltering it is in Dallas since it is obnoxious here in Connecticut.
    Beautiful Miracle Baby lost at 21 weeks due to pre-term labor and incompetent cervix. FET#1 BFN, FET#2 BFP, early loss. FET#3 BFN. IVF#2 BFFN.     I'm hot, too....indoors with the AC set at 72!!!!!  Hopefully you're staying inside!

    I noticed they said on the news that this week is supposed to be the hottest one this summer here in Austin...and my daughter is scheduled to arrive on the hottest day.  yuck.  I'm glad I'll be in a freezing hospital!!!!

    Well I had to get out of the house so I met a friend to see Crazy, Stupid, Love-it was really good!  Sounds like everywhere else is pretty miserable too!  Stay cool everyone!
