Success after low betas?

Hi ladies.  I normally post on GP on TN and IF so I hope you don't mind if I ask a question.  DH and I did our first IVF this cycle.  I found out the results of the blood work yesterday.  Beta from Wednesday (8dp5dt) was 11 and yesterday (11dp5dt) was 41.  The nurse at my RE's office said that they won't feel comfortable about the pregnancy until I go over 100.  I go back tomorrow for another blood draw.  I've been spotting since Thursday and sometimes it's light pink, sometimes it's dark brown and it comes and goes.  I've also been cramping on and off.

My question is did anyone else have beta's as low as mine that increased and continued into a normal pregnancy?  Any advice or words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.

Referred to RE February 2011 : Me - PCOS, DH - 1% morph
IVF with ICSI #1 ~ Long Lupron starting 06/26/11, stims 07/05/11, ER 07/14/11 - 19 eggs, 16 mature, 15 fertilized!
07/19/11 - transferred two embies (5AA and 4AA), 7 frosties!

    I am not sure how it compares to IVF but my beta was 35 at 11dpiui and then 116 at 13dpiui. I'll be sending lots of beta doubling, sticky vibes to you!
    Me: 33, Hypothalamic Amenorrhea, DOR (AMH .35), DH: 38, Borderline low morph
    5/09- Off BCP, 5/09-9/09- No period, 9/09-9/10- Lots of Tests & accupuncture
    10/10 and 11/10- 2 rounds of Menopur + TI= BFNS
    12/10-IUI #1 Menopur = BFN
    1/11- IUI #2 Menopur = BFP, 2/11 missed mc at 9 weeks, D&C
    5/11- Operative Hysteroscopy to remove uterine septum
    6/11- IUI #3 Menopur = BFP, 8/11 missed mc at 11 weeks, D&C
    1/12- Lap and Operative Hysteroscopy to remove uterine septum (again) & scar tissue
    2/12- Stint Removal, 3/12 repeat SHG and HSG- showed scar tissue blocking right tube
    4/12- Operative hysteroscopy (again), RE said he can now see right tube (yay!)
    5/12- Stint removal, 6/12 repeat SHG and HSG-both tubes are open!
    8/12- IUI #4 Bravelle = BFN
    9/12-IUI #5 Bravelle = BFN
    1/13- IVF #1, micro-flare protocol, 7R, 6F, 5dt of 2 AA embryos, 1 to freeze = BFP
    Beta #1: 176, Beta #2: 422, EDD 10/8/13- it's TWINS!

    at 15DPO mine was 34. then 17 was 101.8 then 20 DPO it was 600 (I think I got all the numbers right all my beta info is in my siggy)

    I got my first positive at 11dp3dt and it was FAINT -- the next day was my beta at 34.

    I spotted and had BAD cramps inbetween my first and 2nd beta and I thought for sure it was a bust but it was I was losing my 2nd embryo.

    Also not sure about how numbers differ with IVF, but my beta at 13dpo was 14 and at 15dpo was 71. I really hope your next beta will be nice & high!

    After 2 1/2 years TTC, 3 IUI's, endo, and a lap, a surprise BFP brought us Alexandra Marie!

    There are lots of ladies who have had low beta success stories.  Unfortunately, I haven't been one of them.  I've had a c/p and ectopic pgs that started out with low betas.  I hope you are one of the success stories!  Sending out lots of good beta vibes your way.
