Let there be cake!

Dh and I celebrated our 1st anniversary together this weekend. Today we finally opened our wedding cake (The 8" topper was saved) that had been preserved for the last year, and surprisingly it was amazing! I think I might have eaten half. We even wrapped up a big piece to save for next year!

While nasty, I half support the first anniversary cake thing.

The thought of eating cake that was two years old, frozen and thawed twice, is revolting.

Good luck with all of that.

  • It actually tasted good. I thought it would be kind of a gag thing. We're sticking it back in the freezer for next year to see if it actually works again. We'll see!

  • I can hardly handle thinking about one year. Two years is disgusting.

I am so glad that the place where we got our cake provides a new "top tier" on the first anniversary/

  • Once something has been thawed, it shouldn't be re-frozen.

*Side-note: for some reason, I wrote "has been stalled" instead of thawed. NO idea where that came from.
