Laprascopy question

I had my surgery on Wed and have felt pretty good since. However, it is super sore now and I just took a shower and it stings like crazy around my incision. Also it is really really bruised. Is this normal? If so, how long will it still be uncomfortable?

    That sounds normal to me.  I was really sore for about 2 weeks.  The bruising stuck around for about 3.  ~hugs~ I hope you have a quick recovery!

    I haven't had any really major sugeries other than wisdom teeth and D&C, but I just wanted to say that I hope that it heals up soon and you can feel better. Petra is dead on about marking the redness and keeping an eye on that (I was in nursing school before my nephew came to live with us) so keep an eye on it!
