Sweaty PFs / Diaper Rash

Hi,

I've been using GMD PFs and some WAHM fitteds on my 3wk old.  He has come down with a diaper rash, so I temporarily switched to disposables (and used Desitin).  It cleared up quickly, so I went back to PFs, but the rash came right back.  How do I prevent diaper rash from recurring?  I've been putting Grandma El's cream on.

 Also, it seems that he completely sweats through the fitteds and PFs.  I don't think it's pee (odorless and colorless).

Any tips/suggestions appreciated.  TIA!

    You can try putting a fleece liner in the diaper. It should help him stay a little drier. I just buy fleece at the fabric store and cut it myself. Also, make sure you're changing him often enough.

    Baby's pee doesn't really have smell or color to it.  It think it is more likely pee that is causing them to be wet.  I know that especially as a newborn, I had to change LO really frequently.  The newborn prefolds are not very absorbent at all.  I would try changing LO more frequently and also try fleece.
