Baby Names

Baby Boy: Seth/Jaxon

Our daughter's name is Scarlett and we need help picking out a boy name that will go well.  What do you think of this name combination?  Our last name sounds like Howard. TIA!

Should it be:

Seth Jaxon

or

Jaxon Seth

Re: Baby Boy: Seth/Jaxon

  • I would use Seth as the first name.  That is just because I do not like the name Jaxon...the X in the middle just looks strange to me.
  • JaCKson Seth or Seth JaCKson...either way sounds fine to me; just please don't spell it with an X

  • I think Jaxon Seth flows better, but I prefer the Jackson spelling.

  • Love Seth so I'll vote for Seth Jaxon, although I'd prefer to see Jaxon left off altogether. Or at least spelled properly.

    I prefer Seth Jackson.

  • I can't stand Jaxon, the name is just way too overdone.  I would go with Seth.

  • I vote Seth. I agree with PP - Jaxon is overdone and odd when spelled with an X. It's a shame because I actually like the name Jackson, but I'd never use it because it's too popular. Seth is a wonderful name. Every Seth I've known (as a high school teacher, so we're talking teenagers) has been a smart, mannerly person.

  • I like the name Jackson, but the "x" spelling confuses me...it just looks weird. I like Jackson Seth :)

  • Of your choices I say Seth Jaxon because I hate the spelling Jaxon.

If it were spelled Jackson, I'd say Jackson Seth, hands down.

  • I really like it both ways....Both are good strong names.  I do like the spelling of Jackson better than Jaxon.  Good Luck.

  • Thanks for the input.  The Jaxson was my MIL's Idea.  I blame her!  HAHA!  I completely agree and think we will stick with the first name of Seth!  Middle name still might be in the air though! Thank you all again!!  I read them all to my husband.  We thought the unanimous responses were hilarious!  :)
