Hello girls!
I am in need of inspiration for a team green baby room. We just had our A/S and did not find out the sex, which I am excited about, but then when thinking about the room I got a little bummed. Everything I see is either too plain, or too girl/boy. I was thinking maybe a tree? But then can't find bedding to go....any help is welcome
Re: Team Green inspiration- tree?
Disclaimer- Sorry, I'm on a Mac and not sure how to make links clicky - and some things included here are ridiculously expensive, but I listed them anyway in case they help get you inspired.
You could do very simple, non-themed bedding in greens and/or browns and put a great tree decal on the wall. Etsy is a good place to look for decals & so is https://www.wallcandyarts.com/. If you did that, some good bedding ideas are: Pottery Barn's Harper Nursery Bedding, Serena & Lily's Sprout Collection, The George or the Cale bedding on www.poshtots.com. You can also create your own collection by buying a crib skirt, fitted sheet and blanket all separtely to go w/ your theme (I think that's what we'll end up doing so we don't pay for a bumper that we won't use).
If you want to have more of a design on your bedding which sticks w/ your tree theme, check these out (the first three, in particular, I think could be adorable):

Yes, trees are always good! Here's one idea: I painted these in 2003 and 2007, respectively. I love how zebra stripes look with foliage. It's always beautiful! The full-on jungle mural on the left (2003) is a bit much these days. I have found it is too busy for te modern nursery, but you can simplify it as shown in the picture on the right (2007). There is some really cute jungle bedding that looks either girl or boy, you just need to search for it. Or, you could find a set that has solids in bright colors and incorporates animal prints.
Animals are always good just like trees! )

I'm not team green, but I decorated my nursery to be gender neutral so that I can reuse most everything for future babies. Here is a link to my post about it: https://community.thenest.com/cs/ks/forums/thread/54504741.aspx
