Sharp pains....down there......anyone else??

So I'm 5 weeks PP & I'm experiencing some sharp pains in my vagina. They are more annoying than anything, but it's weird. They're not cramps, but small sudden pains. I was wondering if any of you were experiencing the same thing? And if so, have you talked to your doctor about it yet, and what did they say? My PP check-up is in a week, so I plan on bringing this up then, but it's hard to wait a week. So any advice/insight would be appreciated. :) TIA!!

    I don't post often but I just went in with this week with this issue. I apparently have some tissue left over in my uterus and the pains are my body trying to dislodged everything. I'm about 12 weeks out and it had been going on a few weeks before I went in so we're waiting a few weeks to see if it'll go away on its own. If I still notice it in a couple weeks I'll have to have a D&C.

    I'm not overly worried now that I at least know what is causing it...

    Oh! Ok. I wonder if that's what going on with me. I have noticed some discharge (TMI sorry). But this would make sense. What is a D&C??

    Dilation and curettage, it's a tissue removal process. I had to wikipedia it!  Anyhow, I think the discharge is normal though. I don't think I've had any pains (at least none that are noteworthy) but I have more discharge than usual as well.

    I was having some bleeding esp after dtd which lasted like 12hrs... otherwise no discharge. I'm sure its nothing more serious than that. Definitely ask though!
