How do YOU de-hair your legs?

I use the term "de-hair" because there other methods of removal beyond shaving.

I hate shaving. It's time consuming, messy, and sometimes painful. What do you ladies do for grooming your legs? Anybody had any luck with removal creams that don't break the bank?

  • I shave, but my hair grows very slowly and is difficult to see so I only do it every week or so.  I hate hair removal creams!  They leave awful chemical burns, smell terrible, and don't really work after the first time.

    I don't.

But I do have to use Veet today because I am going to a birthday part tomorrow and I thnk I will be wearing shorts. Veet is my go to since pregnancy because I didn't trust myself using a razor when I couldn't see certain parts of my legs.

  • shave.  I use a men's facial shaving cream from The Body Shop (https://www.thebodyshop.ca/en/men-product/men-product-bath/for-men-maca-root-shave-cream.aspx). Since I've started using it I haven't had any razor burn or itchiness after. Also you only need a small amount to do my whole leg so the tube lasts me over 6 months.

  • I shave every other other day or so.  The hair near my ankles is way darker and grows faster than the hair everywhere else, so I usually just shave from mid-calf to ankle every otherother day, and my whole leg ...whenever.  If DH was here then I'd have a higher priority in personal leg-hair hygiene.

  • I just shave. I've tried a couple of the creams over the years and nothing worked.

  • I like the "I don't" approach. I shave maybe every other week! I'm lazy! Poor DH.

Me exactly haha. It's summer and I don't even care. New moms don't have to be primped and groomed well, it's a rule.

  • I just shave too.  About one a week.  My hair grows slow and is blond and soft so it doesn't really show.
  • I've waxed before- I wouldn't really recommend it.  Not that it hurts, but I still had to shave b/c I missed spots.  And it was really messy.

I just shave now.   Probably once a week or so- my leg hair grows fairly slowly and it's not dark.

Ditto! I had an allergic reaction to nair. It make me break out in little bumps and itched me to death!

  • I shave every single day, even in winter. I can't use Veet because I got terrible chemical burns from it when I tried it once. I guess because I shave every single day I don't find it to be time consuming or irritating at all.
  • I find shaving so time consuming!! Does it take anybody else a long time to shave?! Maybe I'm too much of a perfectionist...That and I don't do it often enough?
