Pregnant after IF

2 Questions...

1. How far along were you when you had a recognizeable/noticeable bump? I'm so tired of people just thinking I've put on some weight...ugh.

2. How far along were you when you felt your baby move for the first time?

Thanks, ladies! I hope everyone is having a great Saturday!

We also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And HOPE does not dissappoint.

Re: 2 Questions...

  • 1. How far along were you when you had a recognizeable/noticeable bump? I was probably 14-18 weeks on the bump, and even then, I went from 'cute bump' to obscene bump really fast in the beginning of my third tri. :)

     2. How far along were you when you felt your baby move for the first time? It was the end of 17 weeks for me, but the OB had told me not to expect it until 20-24 weeks.  The first movement I felt, I actually posted here, saying, "I think" I felt the baby move.  It was a fleeting bubble feeling a couple of inches below my belly button.

    Have a great day!

  • 1.  My bump was noticeable to people that already knew at about 11 wks or so.  I'm still not getting any eyes or comments from strangers - weird, because I know I have a bump now at just about 20 wks.

    2.  Just this week, I have been feeling the baby kick,  It's so awesome.  I can't wait for DH to be able to feel it!

  • 1,  I'm a late bloomer.  I have a teeny bump, but if I'm sitting down or you aren't looking at me head on, you still can't tell I'm pregnant (even though I'm up 17lbs and weigh more than I've ever weighed before).

     2.  Right before a/s  - 20 weeks.

TTC since April 2009 dx = PCOS; TTC History for DS - A FET miracle after 7 IUIs; 2 fresh transfers, and 1 other FET resulted in BFNs. Hoping and Praying for baby #2: Cycle 1 - FET; November 2012 BFN Next Steps - who knows? Lilypie Second Birthday tickers

I had my first stranger as if I was pregnant at 16 weeks but that's with twins.

I think it's good advice to say you should feel movement right around 20 weeks - you can feel it before but its fleeting and iffy.

  • They say you show more the second time around but it was SO not true for me. (Though my pregnancies were 6 yrs apart)

    1. With this pregnancy - my noticeable to everyone else bump didn't come until about 24 weeks. And still there were people who didn't notice it. (With my first DD it was around 15 weeks)

    2. With this pregnancy I felt some flutters around 16 weeks but knew it was definetly baby around 18 weeks. More defined kicks came around 21 weeks or so.

  • 1. Around 16 weeks a work friend asked if I was pregnant. So I guess it was pretty noticeable then. But it was my second pregnancy too. 2. By 18 weeks I felt definately flutters. But with number one I didn't feel anything until 20 weeks.

  • 1. People started asking me if I was pregnant at 23 weeks, so I guess that's when it was very clear.

    2. I felt her move for the first time at 17 weeks, but it wasn't until 19 weeks that I felt her consistently everyday.

    1. How far along were you when you had a recognizeable/noticeable bump? probably 14 weeks.  I think it helps to wear tighter shirts.  When I started wearing the tighter fitting maternity shirts EVERYONE noticed.

    2. How far along were you when you felt your baby move for the first time?  This time, 14/15 weeks.  With DS not until 16/17 weeks.

Thanks, ladies! I hope everyone is having a great Saturday!
