Wrist Pain Anyone?

My wrists hurt so much!!  I swear I am going to end up with carpal tunnel or something.  I know it's from lifting my 16 lb. monster baby all the time.  He loves being held over my head up in the air.  Laughs and laughs.  Anyone else have really sore wrists.  My back and neck have been sore before too but the wrist pain is really killing me!

    Yes! Mine started with pregnancy.  Used to wear a wrist brace at night but didn't really help. It got better, but now it's worse again. I think from lifting/holding DD.

    I don't have so much wrist pain as I do shoulder pain. My shoulders are killing me from carrying the stupid car seat!

    Omg, yes! I've had it pretty much since giving birth! I'm considering going to the dr for it.

    This.  I went to a doctor for my symphasis pubic dysfuntcion and mentioned my shoulder.  She called it "mommy shoulder" and pressed on the exact spot haha.   She said stretch and try to use the other arm for a while.  I'm falling apart!

    they called mine tendinitis of the wrist....there are websites to help with hand exercises and the doc told me it wont stop til i stop carring my child

    Me too!  I just did some research and it is probably De Quervain's Tendinitis.  They call it "Mommy wrist."  I was going to call my doc soon.  The pain is down my thumb and into my wrist.  Doesn't help that I hold my son and use that wrist/arm to support him all the time.  I am going to try some advil and maybe icing it, and I may get a wrist brace.  Occupational hazard, I guess!

(Beta 19 Prog 13) -Ectopic Pg - (Beta 27, 67, 430, 850) - methotrexate shot & biopsy -Forced 3 month Break 1/4/10 - Uterine septum removed by Hysteroscopy 1/18/10 - Told I have inflammation in uterus. 6 weeks of antibiotics. 2/27/10 - Another confirmed ectopic. 2 shots of methotrexate after an ER visit. Currently doing acupuncture and trying to lose weight. TTC since 3/07 -

    Same here, thumb into the wrist.  I have a wrist brace but I dont feel like it helps me and it makes is really hard to hold DS, especially hard to feed him.
