We just moved out here and are 6 weeks pregnant. Looking for recommendations for a good doctor. Can you also tell me about the hospitals around here? I know doctors usually deliver in a certain hospital so wondering if I can get advice on whether the hospital is good.
I delivered my last 2 at Winnie Palmer and loved it!! They had great care and well done epidurals (I am worried about getting a bad epidural). They had private rooms and murphy beds for the husbands. Room service. You name it, it was wonderful!!! I just don't want a crappy delivery experience after that.
Re: Recommendations for Clermont area OB/GYN?
I highly recommend The Women's Center for Excellence.

Dr. McLean delivered my 4 month old at Winnie Palmer via emergency c-section 5 weeks early. The entire practice is awesome. I never met anyone there that wasn't overly friendly and helpful. I was supposed to deliver at South Lake Hospital but because they don't have a NICU, and I was 5 weeks early, I had to go to Winnie. In fact, I was admitted to South Lake 2 days before I gave birth and stayed there until they decided on a c-section for me because of low amniotic fluids. They gave me the option to stay there or go to Winnie because of the chance of baby needing to go to the NICU. Really they were awesome my entire pregnancy and delivery and after care. If I have another, I can't wait to do it again with them!
I haven't been to this doctor, but my good friend sees him and loves their whole staff.
