Should I just keep her up & really cranky?

Well, we are STILL not well-adjusted to the new Daylight Saving time.  DD is going down for the night and it's only 6:15pm CST.  We tried to keep her up so that bedtime would be at least 7pm, but failed again -- she woke up from her nap at 4:00pm and just couldn't last any longer.  What should I do tomorrow?  Try to fit in an extra nap?  Keep her up a long time during the afternoon to offset?  I just can't seem to get this going . . .

  • She'll eventually get the new times worked out.

Personally, I wouldn't be forcing the baby to stay awake.  That typically backfires big time.

Scarlett is still going to bed earlier than normal and getting up earlier than normal, but it's slowly moving back to the way it was before.

  • I agree with the pp. DD was typically a 10pm bedtime gal, but after daylight savings, it went to 9pm. She's slowly get back up to 10pm.?

I'm of the opinion that dd will work it out. ?

  • I'm finding that it really doesn't pay to try to keep Ian up. He just gets to be impossible to deal with. He is slowly getting back to falling asleep around 7pm, but it's been a tough week.
