Dr's visits, oh boy

We try to schedule our well visits at the same time if possible so we just have one trip.  DH usually meets me there since he works at the hospital.  Today he can't and both girls are getting shots.   This is going to be flippin awesome.  I guess I'll have them do DD1 first then DD2........I better come up with something good to give as a treat after.....

Just wondering if we are the only ones who are crazy enough to do this or are there more?  Also as a side note were not really 2u2 anymore!  I can't believe it went by so fast :(

    I am doing it in 6 weeks solo- good luck!

     Mine won't be 2U2 by then either- I just realized that.  I think I am going to put them in the double stroller to keep DD contained and I will maybe give her a toy she has not opened yet from her birthday to distract her.

    There was only one time it would've conicided..18 months and 6 months...but DH was home from the rig and I did it alone with each. I think when they are older I may....but I would rather not. GL!! I say give your older one a lollipop!

    I've done this.  Bring a game (our ipod touch is a LIFESAVER!!) and some snacks.  Our ped examines both kids, then does the shots for both at the very end.  I always bring in my single stroller so I can at least have one of them strapped in and contained.

    I have done it a few times - and I agree about the stroller.  We did DS's shots first with DD in the stroller, then I put him in the stroller and then we did DD's.  Both kids actually did really well.

    Thanks ladies!  I did bring the stroller, I usually do as long as I know the rooms are big enough to accomodate :)  Luckily DD2 only needed one shot as she was behind on it but they said she could have it at her 1yr instead so we opted for that since I was solo :)  DD1 did really well actually!  She cried less than usual!  I thought about bringing a lollipop but forgot!  Luckily I did bring her milk in a sippy which is her go to comfort source along with a cuddle from mom so it worked out just fine!  This was our 3rd and 4th Dr visit for the week though, since we went to allergy and GI so I'm really glad the week is done!

    We have had several where two or three of them have coincided. It is not fun, but gets it done!!
